William Vanbergen founded BE Education in 2003 with the aim of helping Chinese students gain access to top ranked international schools. A former pupil at Eton College and a graduate of Manchester University as well as envoy of the city of Manchester, Mr Vanbergen has in-depth knowledge of international education and effective strategies to gain acceptance to the world’s leading schools and colleges. Mr Vanbergen designed BE’s proprietary Summer Holiday Programmes at Eton College and Charterhouse School and is responsible for the expansion of Wycombe Abbey International School in China. Under Mr Vanbergen’s leadership, BE has grown from a small education consultancy to the award-winning education services provider it is today. Mr Vanbergen is an expert on China-Britain education issues and is frequently quoted in the media for his pioneering insight into the education industry. He has been interviewed in the Wall Street Journal, quoted by Virgin founder Richard Branson, and appeared on a number of popular Chinese television shows for his views on education in China and the UK.
