Russell set up RSAcademics in 2002 after a career in marketing at Unilever and a stint as Marketing Director of Uppingham School in the UK. His own formal education was at Sevenoaks School, Oxford University and The European School of Management.  Over the last 20 years, Russell has built a team of world-class experts at RSAcademics.  Each year, they now provide consultancy services to about 300 schools and school groups, including the search and selection of school leaders, reviewing and developing senior staff and governors, strategic planning, school improvement, marketing and fundraising and philanthropy advice for not-for-profit schools and educational foundations.
