Qiu Feng

Principal of the Fourteenth Middle School of Hangzhou

Ms. QIU Feng currently serves as Principal of the Fourteenth Middle School of Hangzhou. She is a member of the Communist Party of China, a Master-level English teacher, and a Zhejiang Province Meritorious Teacher. She was bestowed the ‘Order of the Red Banner’ in recognition for trailblazing women in leadership. She is also an expert with Special Government Allowances awarded by the State Council, a National-level Teacher of Excellence, and a secondary teacher with the status of a full professor. In 1996, she began her dedicated research on the project of ‘Harmonious Education’, a key project of the province. She advocates ‘designing education to suit individual students and cultivating top achievers’. Working as a teacher for 35 years, she has developed a distinctive educational approach aiming to maximize student potential by ‘reinforcing their own strengths, understanding their imperfections and brining out their best.’
