Following many years as a teacher, Paul became the Director of Finance and Business at Chinese International School before moving to New York as the Director of Business at the United Nations International School. He then became the International Business Director of Wellington College, managing Wellington’s overseas expansion projects especially in China.

As an international consultant based in London, Paul gives advice to international and independent schools on a range of business, financial and governance issues. Recent work includes project advisor for Merchiston International School in Shenzhen, advisory work for leading UK independent schools in the process of going overseas and 10-year financial projections for projects in Riga, London, Japan, Iraq and Russia.
