Mark is a former lawyer and property developer. He was the Chief Executive for 6 years of a real estate investment and development fund in the UK.He is now based in Dubai having been the Group Director of Real Estate & Development for GEMS Education between 2011 and 2015.

Mark’s role was to source and negotiate school real estate opportunities.Mark was responsible for securing new schools in 7 countries providing GEMS with an additional student capacity of over 25,000. In Dubai he acquired an existing school and 5 land plots.

Mark has considerable experience in school development management, standardised school design solutions and financial operating parameters.
