Marcus has helped design over 500 schools, is a board member of an Academy chain in the UK, an adviser to education groups in the US, Morocco and other EU states. He also three TEDx conferences and regularly addresses groups of educators. His passion is working with students: having seen that new buildings and high level thinking does not always stimulate change he set up a semi philanthropic foundation to work with less advantaged or less engaged students at the critical ages of 13 to 15. TO date, over 90% of the 600 plus students he’s worked with directly have gone on to exceed expectations and have in turn directly impacted nearly 8,000 students otherwise expected to perform badly.
