John Timms

Regional Director, South East Asia, Development Advisory, Savills (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

John graduated as construction engineer, trained as a lawyer and spent the last 20+ years living and working in Asia.

He is currently Head of Development Advisory specialising in research, consulting, financial feasibility, planning and project and construction management.

As a leading advisor, John supports many government, state owned entities, global, international and regional companies as they develop domestically and regionally. He works with a broad range of clients in a variety of asset classes including smart cities, industrial, hospitality, commercial, retail, education, food and beverage and education services.

He works with clients to develop best practice, specifically advising on all forms of design, packaging, procurement, construction and facility management contracts.

John is currently working with the British Research Establishment and Kings College London developing test beds, living labs and live building scenarios to model, test and report on Internal Air Quality and Conditions: addressing the effects on building performance, user and occupier experiences.
