Imran Sheikh

Mr. Sheikh is responsible for real estate investments and acquisitions across the Equitativa REIT portfolio, which includes Emirates REIT; the largest Sharia REIT in the world, The Residential REIT and other REIT’s. He has over 15 years of experience in investments and acquisitions spanning Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Equitativa, Mr. Sheikh was CEO of Dereyah East Ventures, an investment and asset management subsidiary for the Al Rashed Family Office. At Dereyah, he was instrumental in setting up the Dubai investment office, focusing on real estate acquisitions, asset management and alternative investments in the UAE, Europe and the US. Mr Sheikh holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of North London and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School. He is further an active member of a number of organizations and committees in the Private Equity, Real Estate and Emerging Market space.
