Elise Tarvainen
Director, Learning, Isku Finland
In her work as a teacher and an education expert over the past 25 years Elise has focused on developing schools as learning communities with collaborative operational culture and learner-centred working approaches. She has a degree in education (M.A.), and in her Ph.D. studies she focused on educational leadership specializing in school safety and student wellbeing. Her passion is to create learning and innovation environments that improve academic achievement and further the health and well-being of all members of the learning community. Furthermore, Elise’s robust experience on education within Finland and the GCC area has offered her a unique insight on how to create innovative, world-class learning environments by fusing the best practices from multiple education systems.
