Dr Ahmed Shaban

Director of Strategy and Future office – Sharjah Private Education Authority

Dr. Ahmed Shaban is a seasoned Government Experience strategist with a wealth of expertise in driving government transformation initiatives in the UAE. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Future at the Sharjah Private Education Authority, he brings over 20 years of professional experience in areas such as Education, Government Service development, Service delivery, Customer Experience Strategy, Research & Consultancy. His extensive career spans both government and private sector corporations, where he spearheaded various initiatives in different UAE government entities, leveraging emerging technology.

In addition to his professional roles, Ahmed is dedicated to giving back to the community. As an adjunct faculty member at the Higher College of Technology in the UAE, he focuses on nurturing the capabilities of the new generation and imparts knowledge in business analytics.

Dr. Ahmed Shaban earned his PhD from IBS-UTM (International Business School – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University in Egypt.
