Danny Harrison

Chief Executive Officer, Al Omania Education Services Company LLC

Danny initially graduated as a Mining Engineer, before carving out a career in Education. He completed his PGCE at Cambridge, and taught Mathematics both in the UK and New Zealand. Danny managed the Boarding Establishment of a large prestigious boys’ secondary school for 8 years, before becoming Principal of a Year 1-13 school in northern New Zealand (Tauraroa Area School) for 4 years. In the year of his leaving, the school achieved the highest academic results (NCEA) for an area state school in New Zealand. In 2006 he joined GEMS and moved to establish the Aqaba International School in Jordan, and in August 2010 he moved to the position as Principal of Azzan Bin Qais International School in Muscat. In 2014 he was appointed as CEO of Al Omania Education Services Company (OESCo). The company currently owns and operates three schools in Oman with a student population of 3700, and is actively seeking to expand across the Sultanate.
