Courtney Cavellier

Chief Academic Officer, Shattuck-St. Mary’s School

Ms. Cavellier is the Chief Academic Officer for Shattuck-St. Mary’s. She works with the academic programs at all SSM schools, leads the school’s integration of its ScholarShift model, and led the development of SSM-Faribault’s blended model, for which the school was awarded an E.E. Ford grant. She has spoken at numerous conferences, including NAIS, ISACS, and OESIS, about how independent schools are responding to the changing educational landscape. She has experience in both public and private school education; she worked as a public elementary school Literacy Specialist and started her career at an independent boarding school. She is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
