• Beng Chai is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and commercial projects. He is dual qualified in Singapore and Malaysia and is concurrently the head of corporate practice of Bird & Bird in Asia Pacific, and the Managing Partner of Tay & Partners, Malaysia.
• He has been consistently named as a leading individual in Corporate for Malaysia in The Asia Pacific Legal 500 and is ranked as a top competition lawyer for Malaysia.
• Beng Chai graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree of Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons)) in 1985.
• He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to the Singapore Bar in 1986 and as an Advocate and Solicitor to the Malaysian Bar in 1989.
• He is a member of the Board of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industries and also serves on the Boards of several public listed companies.
