Anthony Millard

Anthony Millard runs his own educational consultancy, Anthony Millard Consulting, having been managing director of Nord Anglia PLC’s Schools Division. This followed 15 years as Headmaster of two HMC schools, Wycliffe and Giggleswick. In 2000 Anthony was Chairman of the Boarding Schools Association. Anthony is Chairman of the Board of the British International School New York which he helped to establish in 2006. He is also a governor of the Geneva English School.
Anthony Millard Consulting is responsible for:
- Executive search and recruitment for top jobs in global education; directors of educational institutions and businesses, principals ,heads and bursars in the UK independent and state sectors, and internationally
- Advising school governing bodies and educational businesses on governance, corporate structures and strategy
- Briefing government and non-governmental organisations on British independent education both in the UK and internationally
Anthony was educated at The London School of Economics and Balliol College Oxford. He was a stagiaire with the Commission of the European Union. Anthony’s interests are politics (he stood as the Conservative candidate for Wirral South in the 2001 general election), restoring a Cotswold cottage with the Thames at the foot of its garden, and finding husbands for all three of his daughters!
