Ali Raza

Regional Director for Southeast Asia, Beaconhouse Group

Mr.Ali is a well established leader in the field of education having worked with governments, private institutions and NGOs in developing education, practices and policies within the sector. He has over 12 years experience in the education sector via the Beaconhouse Group and has served as an advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on the matter of Education Reform tasked to elevate the overall standards of teaching and learning and creating conducive learning environments for public schools in the Islamabad Capital Territory.

As the Regional Director for Beaconhouse in Southeast Asia, he oversees daily operations across the schools in Malaysia and the Philippines with a primary focus on transforming teaching and learning while developing and implementing new initiatives.

Mr Ali is also experienced in strategic thinking and results oriented professional experience in the corporate and development sector for past twenty three years on varied projects especially in the field of education.

Mr Ali worked closely with the Ministry of Education in Pakistan in developing an “Operational Policy” and Implementation framework for Public Private Partnership in Education. He also nominated as a member for the Chief Minister’s Task Force on Policy intervention for Private sector schools.
