Ali Aliev

Director of Business Development, North London Collegiate School International

Ali Aliev is a Cambridge MBA-qualified business development leader with over 25 years of international experience, currently serving as Director of Business Development at North London Collegiate School (NLCS) International. His career spans strategic growth, franchising, and investor relations across more than 30 countries, delivering over 150 international projects. Ali has worked with blue-chip brands and high-performing entrepreneurs, consistently applying commercial rigour to complex educational ventures.

At NLCS International, Ali has played a leading role in expanding the school’s global footprint, including the launch of NLCS schools in Japan and Hong Kong with more projects in development.  Ali also led the design and delivery of two major consultancy projects in China. Named a finalist in the 2025 Education Investor Power List, recognised in the Independent School Leader category for strategic impact and sector leadership. He is also an active member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), contributing to Education and Skills Special Interest group.
