Alan Wood

Partner, Clyde & Co

Alan is a partner in Clyde & Co’s corporate group and co-head of the education sector. He advises private, government owned and multinational corporations, family businesses, and investors on share and asset acquisitions and disposals, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, joint ventures (JVs), structuring, reorganisations, corporate governance and compliance, general corporate advisory, and commercial agreements. Alan focuses on Saudi Arabia.

Alan has advised on a multitude of corporate transactions, working with clients operating in the education, energy, healthcare, infrastructure, retail and consumer, and technology sectors.

Alan is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) in 1989.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Alan established the PwC Legal Middle East corporate team and led the corporate function in Saudi Arabia. He was a partner at Pinsent Masons in the UK before locating to the Middle East in 2009 to establish and lead the Middle East corporate team.
