Queen Elizabeth’s School, Dubai Sports City has announced a strategic partnership with King’s College Hospital London, Dubai to integrate clinical expertise into the school’s daily operations. Central to the agreement is the appointment of a dedicated on-site Health and Wellness Coordinator representing a first for the UAE education sector.
The partnership moves the school beyond traditional school medical provision by involving King’s College specialists, including dietitians and occupational health experts, to design wellness programmes and conduct staff health assessments. This clinical integration is intended to form a core pillar of the school’s pastoral strategy ahead of its opening in August 2026.
The move reflects a broader trend of UK independent school brands using domestic partnerships to differentiate their international brands. By teaming up with a recognised clinical name like King’s College Hospital, Queen Elizabeth’s School – inspired by the long-standing Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet, in the UK – is positioning wellbeing as a key performance metric.
