IPSEF Asia 2016 celebrated its 5th year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As IPSEF Asia celebrated its fifth anniversary in 2016 and we not only returned to our original home at the Intercontinental but this was the most pan-Asian event yet! Case studies of new schools from across Asia were blended with a focus on the dynamic and fast changing Chinese market. What is the legislative environment in China? What are the models that allow overseas investors and schools to operate there? What will be the impact of the relaxation of the one child only policy? To answer these questions we had a line-up of highly informed and experienced educators and professionals who shared their objective advice and personal experience.
These important themes ran alongside subjects as diverse as curriculum choices, school design and build, teacher recruitment and CPD, financing your school project, legal issues, and preparing for the unexpected (E.g. natural disasters and civil unrest).
