The Alice Smith School Secondary Campus at Equine Park has an excellent reputation and standing in the region and was judged to be excellent in a British Schools Overseas Inspection in October 2011. Student attainment is consistently very high and there is an extensive programme of wider learning and enrichment. In 2011, a new dedicated building comprising Media, Business and Economics Learning Spaces, Careers and University Guidance Centre and a Business Centre was opened and more recently, the expansion and refurbishment of the science facilities have greatly enhanced the learning environment at the campus. Further plans for improvement will develop the secondary campus as one of the most modern schools in the region, equipped with high quality learning facilities and resources and staffed with teachers utilising best practice and pedagogy.
